In the land of the Salish Seas

Squaxin Island Veterans Memorial

The Squaxin Veterans Memorial, located at the Squaxin Island Tribe, was commissioned by the tribe. When I designed the Warrior Arch for the memorial, my intention where to encourage all to fully immerse themselves in its significance. The arch serves not only as an entry point but also as an integral part of the entire narrative of the Veterans Memorial, embodying the courage and sacrifices of those who have served

Brightwater Treatment Facility

Grandfather’s Wisdom, located at the Brightwater Treatment Center, was commissioned by King County This project marked my first site-specific piece, and after carefully walking the area and observing the landscape, I realized that a longhouse design would be the perfect fit—especially given its proximity to Big Bear Creek.

This installation reflects not only the cultural significance of the longhouse but also the deep connection to the land.

Suquamish Veterans Memorial

The Suquamish Veterans Memorial, located at the Suquamish Tribe, was commissioned this piece. While creating this memorial, my intention was to draw visitors into the space, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in its significance. The longhouse skeleton serves not only as an entry point but also as an integral part of the entire narrative, honoring our ancestors who fought to bring us to where we are today.
